Easy Crochet Basket with T-shirt Yarn
in Under an Hour
One of my favorite things to crochet with T-shirt yarn are baskets! The bulky T-shirt yarn gives the basket a little “oomph.” Who wants a floppy crochet basket?! Did you know you can make your own T-shirt yarn?? I have a quick and easy tutorial linked below. An added plus is this chunky crochet basket for beginners can be made super fast. Grab your supplies and let’s make a crochet basket with T-shirt yarn in under an hour.

This pattern is written in crochet shorthand. Example: "HDC 1" means to half double crochet in the next stitch, and "HDC 30" means to half double crochet into the next 30 stitches.
Starting CH does not count as first stitch.
Right side refers to the side where you can see "V"s in the stitches instead of horizontal bars.
