Notes:
This pattern is written in US Terminology and Imperial Measurements
This pattern is written in crochet shorthand. Example: "SC 1" means to single crochet in the next stitch and "SC 30" means to single crochet into the next 30 stitches.
Parenthesis indicates the steps that need to be repeated. Example: "(INC, DC 3) REP 5 times" means to place 2 DC in the next ST and 1 DC in the next 3 STS
If using jute twine, the entire pattern is worked with two strands held together.
CH 1 does NOT count as first stitch.
The flap is crocheted by decreasing SC STS every row and replacing them with DC STS.
In the assembly stage, you will have two long strands for sewing the sides together. On the left side, the strands will be up higher. Simply do a few stitches toward the sides that need connected and then begin sewing them together with a whip stitch.
